Blake Shelton, Toby Keith & More To Honor Glen Campbell at ACM Honors
Shelton and Keith will join Dierks Bentley and Keith Urban in a special tribute to Glen Campbell, as the country legend will be honored with the ACM Career Achievement Award.
Adding to the previously announced star-studded roster for the 10th Annual ACM Honors, Toby Keith and Blake Shelton will be a part of the lineup for the awards ceremony on August 30.
Shelton and Keith will join Dierks Bentley and Keith Urban in a special tribute to Glen Campbell, as the country legend will be honored with the ACM Career Achievement Award. The men will also take on a medley performance of Campbell’s greatest hits followed by the acceptance of the award by Campbell’s wife, Kim.
Other announced performers include Jason Aldean, Maren Morris, Cole Swindell, Cam, Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini and more. Country trio Lady Antebellum will be hosting the grand event while also taking the stage to perform role as well.
Another big award planned for the night will be one in honor of the late Merle Haggard, who passed away earlier this year. The inaugural Merle Haggard Spirit Award will pay respects to an iconic figure in ACM history as well as points out artists who channel the same musical spirit as the singer.
The 10th Annual ACM Honors will be held at the famous Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday, August 30 and will broadcast on CBS for the first time ever on Friday, September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
