Several of country music’s brightest rising stars will perform on the 2021 CMT Music Awards, the network revealed on Wednesday (6/2). The Ram Trucks Side Stage is famous for hosting a number of rising stars over the years and this year is no different.

The Ram Trucks Side Stage will host the following performers and their songs:
Blanco Brown – “Nobody’s More Country”
Dylan Scott – “Nobody”
Hailey Whitters – “Fillin’ My Cup”
Lainey Wilson – “Things A Man Oughta Know”
Niko Moon – “GOOD TIME”
Tenille Arts – “Somebody Like That”

The performance on the side stage marks Brown’s first television performance appearance since a motor accident almost claimed his life. He made an appearance on the 2021 ACM Awards in April, marking his first time in public since the accident.

The “Git Up” singer, like his other performers, with the exception of Arts, are all nominated for awards during the June 9th telecast.

Though she’s not a nominee this year, Arts has had a breakout year all her own. The Canadian act scored a Number One single with “Somebody Like That” after 70 weeks on the charts. She’ll soon tour with Lady A as part of their What A Song Can Do Tour.

The 2021 CMT Awards, hosted by Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini, will air live on Wednesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. ET on CMT, MTV, MTV2, Logo, Paramount Network and TV Land. Voting is open for Video of the Year from now through Wednesday, June 9. Check out a full list of the nominees here.
