Radio and TV personality Bobby Bones is set to take on Mother Nature with one of television’s most famous survival adventurers, showing up in a new trailer for Running Wild With Bear Grylls.

Bones will guest star on an episode of the famous exploration host’s show — which is moving to the National Geographic channel for the first time this year. He joins a cast of fellow celebrities who are asked “push themselves beyond their limits,” with Grylls taking Bones and company out into the middle of nowhere. Well known for putting himself in tough situations, Grylls’ show will find its famous guests “leaving civilization behind for a no-holds barred journey through the most extreme environments on the planet.”

There’s no word yet on what, exactly, Bones is in for, but he says his episode should air sometime around January and told PopCulture.com he went somewhere “up near Santa Claus,” forced to brave his fear of heights.

“It was two days, and they don’t tell you what you’re about to do, so the whole time you feel like you’re about to die,” Bones said. “And they keep elevating the death. I had to eat something crazy and I almost died a couple times. But, I’m here and I loved it. It was really one of the best experiences of my life. It was crazy.”

Joining Bones on the show’s new season are stars like Dave Bautista, Brie Larson, Cara Delevingne, Channing Tatum, Armie Hammer, and more. Running Wild With Bear Grylls premieres on National Geographic November 5 at 10 p.m. ET.
