Keith Urban Leaves Hilarious Voicemail For Bobby Bones
This is adorable!
On Wednesday (Feb. 19), it was announced that the team of The Bobby Bones Show won the Academy of Country Music Award for National On-Air Personality. Keith Urban wanted to personally congratulate Bobby Bones, so he left him a hilarious voicemail that Bones then played on the air.
In the message, Urban makes up a little song congratulating him, singing “You got the personality of the year award, Bobby Bones you’re a legend from Arkansas.” Urban sings a few more lines through laughter before ending the message with, “Hey Bobby! Congrats man. Congrats on your ACM. Kickass! It’s Keith. Bye.”

In a video of the moment posted on Instagram, Bones and the crew can be heard laughing as they listen to the message. The end of the message is particularly funny, as Keith decides to finally introduce himself after singing the whole song.
“At the end, like I’ve listened to it the whole time and not known who it was,” Bones says sarcastically. “I’m just so confused. Who is this? ‘It’s Keith.’ Oh!”
The winners of the ACM’s radio categories were announced Wednesday by Carly Pearce on the official ACM Facebook page. The other nominees for the National On-Air Personality award included The Blair Garner Show, The Crook & Chase Countdown, The Music Row Happy Hour, and The Storme Warren Show.
