Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood Remember ‘How It All Started’ In New CMA Awards Promo

“Country Music’s Biggest Night,” aka “The 48th Annual CMA Awards” is just around the corner! With the big show coming up, hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are hard at work preparing to host for the seventh consecutive year.

In a new promo for the show, Paisley asks Underwood, “Remember how it all started?” The segment then transitions to a room full of children watching a young Brad and Carrie host a pretend show. When Underwood introduces the artists who will be appearing, real-life photos of Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, and Blake Shelton as kids roll across the screen (how cute!).

When Underwood mentions Shelton, Paisley pipes in saying, ” “He can’t be here, Carrie. He’s grounded!” But don’t worry, they’re just kidding. Blake will be performing on the show!

Check out the hilarious promo above and tune in to “The 48th Annual CMA Awards” live, Wednesday, Nov. 5 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.
