Brad Paisley Jokingly Accepts NFL Hall of Fame Election On Behalf of Peyton Manning

Once a band, always a band. That’s the motto Brad Paisley is sticking to as he accepted Peyton Manning’s major accolade of making it into the NFL Hall of Fame.
The former NFL quarterback received the honor of becoming a member of the League’s top club when it was announced on February 6 (Saturday) alongside other football legends like Charles Woodson, Calvin Johnson and Drew Pearson.
Paisley, who works closely with Manning on their series of Nationwide commercials, seized the opportunity to commemorate the news by including himself in the high honor.
“Hey Peyton, Congrats!!! We’re in the @nfl hall of fame!! #WeAreABand That’s how this works right? @nationwide #peytonmanning,” he captioned the screenshot post of the two.
While Manning himself is not present on Instagram, the official account for Nationwide got right to the replies by supporting Paisley with his hilarious concept.
“That’s definitely how it works. Congratulations, Peyton! … (you too, Brad),” the company commented.
Even Paisley’s wife, Kimberley Williams-Paisley, got in on the joke by leaving her own show of support in her comment saying, “#soproud.”
Ever since the two were paired together for the Nationwide commercials, Paisley and Manning have become close friends and helped each other out with other projects. The famed QB made a cameo in Paisley’s Zoom-themed video for “No I in Beer” and also signed on as a guest when Paisley hosted his own variety television special back in 2019.
As Paisley continues to promote his current single, “No I in Beer,” Manning is expected to be officially inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, during the week of August 5.
