Brad Paisley might not be part of this year’s CMA Awards — for the first time in more than 10 years — but that doesn’t mean he can’t get a TV hosting gig. He’ll be at the center of ABC’s Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special this holiday season.

Set to air December 3, the variety-show special will be hosted and executive produced by the country star — and filled with his signature brand of … “comedy.” A video teaser for the the show is out now, and it gives a few hints about what viewers can expect from the dry-witted entertainer.

“We are putting on a full blown production of humor and heart,” Paisley says, although he also admits his famous guests might think it’s more of a “Roast-Brad-Paisley-style” event.

Kelsea Ballerini, Hootie & The Blowfish, The Jonas Brothers, Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison, NFL legend (and fellow Nationwide Insurance lover) Peyton Manning and more will all take the stage at Nashville’s historic War Memorial Auditorium — once the home of the Grand Ole Opry. They’ll be on hand to play off Paisley’s much-loved sense of sarcastic humor, and the show will also feature musical performances and in-the-field video clips, all meant to show what Paisley loves most about his adopted hometown of Music City.

“By the end if you watch this show, you’re gonna want to come to Nashville,” Paisley predicts.

Don’t miss the fun when Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special airs on ABC December 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
