Brad Paisley is pretty much known to fans for his iconic country voice, but he’s about to put his comedy skills up to the test as he’ll host two comedy shows for the Wild West Comedy Festival.

The country singer has released a number of tongue-in-cheek tracks to radio, from “Alcohol” to “Online,” but he’ll enter the world of standup comedy for a third time to entertain the masses among many other esteemed comedians next month in Nashville. Also joining the hilarious lineup for the week includes Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharaoh, Chelsea Lately’s Heather McDonald and many more funny faces.

Paisley’s live performances at the popular Nashville comedy club will also be taped for an upcoming comedy special to air at a later date.

Although he may be more comfortable hitting the stage as a musician, Paisley has had more than his fair share of practice from previous years of his standup routine as well as co-hosting the CMA Awards with Carrie Underwood as a jokester for the past nine years.

The Wild West Comedy Festival will be held at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville from April 17 to 23, with Paisley’s routines on April 18. Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 21 on the Zanies website.
