Brad Paisley to Receive 2013 Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony

Superstar Brad Paisley is set to receive the prestigious 2013 Harmony Award from the Nashville Symphony this December.

Paisley will be given the award at the 29th annual Symphony Ball, which will take place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center on December 14.

Each year, the Nashville Symphony presents the honor to someone “who exemplifies the harmonious spirit of Nashville’s thriving musical community.” Previous recipients include Keith Urban and Taylor Swift.

“We can’t think of anyone today more deserving of this award, which over the years has honored the many artists who’ve helped make Nashville the thriving creative capital that it is today,” symphony CEO and President Alan Valentine said in a press release.

Paisley will attend the December 14 ball to accept his award and perform one of his hits with the Nashville Symphony.
