Brandon Lay Excited to Spend Father’s Day as a Dad of Two

Singer Brandon Lay is gearing up to celebrate Father’s Day, this year, as a father of two. The singer and his wife Nicole, who are already parents to a rambunctious 21-month-old boy Ryder, welcomed a little girl on June 8, making thisweekends’s celebration all the sweeter.

“Lara June Lay was born less than two weeks ago. It’s been great,” the doting dad shares with Sounds Like Nashville. “She’s already so different than our boy Ryder. It’s so interesting to immediately see their different personalities.”

Fatherhood has been a welcome life change for the singer, who was quick to admit that the focus has shifted from he and his wife to just the kids. That’s okay, though, as Lay is ready to soak up all the time he has with his young family.

“As a dad, there are a lot of special moments,” he explains. “Ryder lives for tractor rides. We usually do one in the morning and one in the evening. That’s about the only time he’ll stay still enough for me to hold him.”

Another special dad moment was Lara’s arrival, of which he praised his wife for her strength during the delivery.

“Nicole and I have had a very blessed day welcoming Lara June into the world,” he wrote.
