Brandon Ray recently went on the hunt for new music to release to his fans. Thankfully, he didn’t have to go to the ‘Ends of the Earth’ to find it as his latest single will find its way into country music soon.

Working together as a part of the BOOM team with producer Ross Copperman and Co., Ray searched near and far to land right on his latest track, “Ends of the Earth.” After a serendipitous business relationship was established between Copperman and Ray, the two started with Ray’s current release and knew it was the one.

“Ross [Copperman] sent me this song in a Dropbox full of songs. It was the first one on there, and literally when I heard it – he wrote it with Jon Nite and Nicolle Galyon, all of them, between them, have written probably 40 No. 1s – when I hear this song, I was like, ‘Wait a minute, hang on.’ I listened to it about 40 times, and sort of to my fans, we just started playing it out. The response was crazy,” Ray explained exclusively to Sounds Like Nashville during a recent phone interview.

The upbeat yet romantic ode defines Ray’s personal relationship status, in which he still finds himself in the honeymoon phase after marrying his sweetheart two years ago. Although they don’t get to spend all of their days together due to the demands of their separate jobs, Ray admits he’d do anything for her even if it means going all the way around the world to make her smile.

“The song itself is exactly how I feel right now,” Ray revealed. “I got married about, almost two years ago. I hardly ever see my wife because I’m traveling and she’s working like crazy. This is our feeling with each other, that whatever we have to do to keep this thing rolling and keep this thing on fire, we’re gonna do. We’re going to go to the ends of the earth to make that happen. That’s the story of it.”

Even fellow country star Keith Urban got a brief cameo on the track by dropping by the studio with Copperman and Ray for some chill times recording.

“We went into the studio, and Keith [Urban] just started playing on it, then he started singing on it. Some would say it’s a duet between me and Keith, but it’s not, I promise,” he said.

Ray’s single, “Ends of the Earth,” is availaboe for download now. Fans can stream the track on Spotify below.
