Fresh off his collaboration with Taylor Swift on the smash-hit “Me!,” Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie is hoping for his next musical collaboration.

In an Ask Anything Chat on YouTube, the frontman answered a slew of fan questions, including one asking who he’d like to perform with for a CMT Crossroads episode. Immediately, Urie had a specific name come to mind.

“Oh, dude, the first name that comes to mind is Kacey Musgraves,” he answered instantly. “I’m a huge Kacey Musgraves fan.”

He then went on to explain that he met Musgraves briefly at a party several years ago and sat it awe of the singer/songwriter while at dinner.

“We actually went to a … this is going to be a name drop,” Urie recalled, “We went to a Clive Davis party a year back or two, a couple of years ago, and sat at the same table, the same table as Kacey and Maren Morris and the amazingly kind people of Lady Antebellum. But I remember just sitting across from Kacey and me and my wife were just losing it, ya know?”

Admitting that he’s a “huge fan of her voice, her songwriting style,” Urie cements his hope to perform alongside the GRAMMY-winner. “I think that would be really, really fun to do Crossroads with her.”

As he speaks his dream collaboration out into the universe, Urie is busy working with worldwide superstar and former country starlet Taylor Swift for the lead single from her upcoming seventh album. The song broke records immediately, gaining the most views on YouTube within a 24-hour period.

The two will take the catchy bop to the stage at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards on May 1.
