Brett Eldredge Has Un-Beer-Ably Good Time Performing at Bud Light Party Tour

"...if I can do those kind of shows often, it's pretty fun. It was just a natural fit. I loved working with them," said Eldredge.

Brett Eldredge has been working hard all summer long. Not only has he been touring on one of summer’s hottest tours, Keith Urban’s Ripcord World Tour, but he also took part in the Bud Light Party Tour late last week.

The singer has been a partner with the beer company for some time and taking part in their show was nothing short of a blast for the country crooner.

“I have played several shows with Bud Light, because I just, it’s always been a natural fit for me,” Eldredge told Sounds Like Nashville. “It was my go-to beer. If I was ever drinking beer, it’s Bud Light. They came to me and they said, ‘We’re having a Bud Light Party. In the election time, we just want to throw a Bud Light Party and bring people together with music and Bud Light.’ I was like, ‘I could be a part of the Bud Light Party!’ So they had a convention in Dallas and brought in a bunch of crazy fans and people from Bud Light to party and have fun.”

To keep in the spirit of a beer-y good time (get it?), Eldredge changed up his set a bit to do something a little bit different.

“I do this part of my show where I’m singing ‘Drunk On Your Love’ and I usually pass out roses. Well, I started passing out Bud Light,” he said with a laugh. “It was a blast. It was really fun, and if I can do those kind of shows often, it’s pretty fun. It was just a natural fit. I loved working with them.”

Eldredge wasn’t the only musical act slated to perform at the convention in Dallas. Pop superstar Jason Derulo was also on the bill. Unfortunately for the Illinois native, however, he didn’t get to spend much time with the “Talk Dirty” singer.

“I didn’t spend much time with him, but he’s a brilliant performer and I wish I could have, because I could have learned maybe a couple dance moves from him,” joked Eldredge.

While he didn’t get to learn any moves from Derulo himself, Eldredge could probably look to Luke Bryan for some tips as the Georgia native spent time with Derulo when they filmed an episode of CMT Crossroads together.

The Bud Light Party tour embarked on a 13-city tour this summer and featured some of the hottest music acts, including Justin Moore, Ludacris, Big Sean, Lil Wayne and many more.

“The Bud Light Party stands for uniting all people and nothing does that better than a summer full of fun, good music and Bud Light. We’re thrilled to take the excitement on the road with our Bud Light Party Conventions announcing a unique lineup that is sure to make this campaign trail the highlight of the summer,” said Alex Lambrecht, Vice President, Bud Light.
