Brett Eldredge is rolling with ‘Somethin’ He’s Good At’ by making the official announcement regarding the release of his third studio album.

After raking in a handful of No. 1 radio hits and establishing his classic sound on his holiday record, Glow, Eldredge is taking the plunge into the next step of his career by sending out a self-titled project for his third studio effort.

“It’s kind of crazy to see an album cover with just your name on it,” Eldredge said in a press release. “I think that shows what I want to say with this album. Maybe it takes a little bit of guts to put out a self-titled album – but if it’s 100% honestly you, then that should come across through the music. That’s my name and I hope my fans love me for me. Hopefully they feel the connection of these songs and they help them through their everyday lives. Because that’s why I make this music.”

While fans have only heard a taste from the new record with Eldredge’s current single, “Somethin’ I’m Good At,” playing on country radio now, he previously revealed how personal and deep this musical endeavor will go for him and he’s ready to hear the fans’ response to his latest lyrical journey.

“I think this is the most time we’ve ever spent on a record just trying to get it just right ’cause I felt like this is the album I feel like…you know that third album is that sweet spot and I think we have found that sweet spot with this. Like I said, we spent more time trying to perfect it as much as possible and really, I think it goes much deeper into lyrics than I’ve ever gone and I think it goes melodically deeper than I’ve ever gone,” he told Sounds Like Nashville and other media at a past No. 1 party.

Eldredge’s self-titled release is due out later this year on August 4.
