Brett Young Celebrates His Daughter’s First Birthday
Happy birthday, Presley!
Brett Young and his wife Taylor recently celebrated their daughter Presley’s first birthday! Her birthday was on Wednesday, October 21st, and Young posted about the milestone on Thursday. In a post on Instagram that shows Presley sitting in her high chair with a pink birthday hat and a pink bib that reads, ’Who runs the world? Girls,” Young shared his thoughts about his daughter turning one.
“My sweet little Lady! I can’t believe you’re already 1,” he wrote. “This year has been the most incredible, life changing year of our lives and we continually pinch ourselves when we think about how much we love you and how blessed we are to be your mama and dada. You have such a beautiful, kind and sweet spirit and you bring more joy to our lives than you’ll ever know. Thank you for making everything just a little bit more beautiful and special.”

The couple invited friends and family to the party, which took place at their home. Prior to the party, Young shared that they made sure it would be a fun and safe occasion.
“We’re gonna do a little something at home, really small,” he said. “My in-laws are gonna be staying with us, and we have a handful of friends in the community that haven’t traveled and everybody’s been tested and the whole thing. We’re kinda gonna treat it like a work day, unfortunately for Presley. It’s gonna be a little less exciting and a little less extravagant while being safe and responsible. We still want to make sure we celebrate her because she’s the best thing that ever happened to us, so her first birthday is really special to all of us.”
Brett and Taylor announced they were expecting Presley, their first child together, on April 6, 2019. Young’s latest single, “Lady,” is about both Presley and his wife.
