Brett Young Marries Taylor Mills in California
Congratulations to the happy couple!
No more sad heartbreak songs for Brett Young as the singer is living happily as a married man. The “In Case You Didn’t Know” singer married his longtime girlfriend Taylor Mills on Saturday (11/3) at the Bighorm Golf Club in Palm Desert, California, reports PEOPLE.
“Being able to be best friends with a person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with is the most important thing,” he told the publication. “She has a very pure, kind heart.”
The couple was surrounded by 200 guests, including Lee Brice, Luke Combs and Gavin DeGraw, all of whom performed during the ceremony.
“We chose people in terms of performers that are really important to us and are close friends,” shared Mills. Added Young: “If everybody in the country music family could’ve been there, we would’ve asked them all to sing!”

During the ceremony, officiated by Young’s father Brad and manager Van Hazelitt, the couple exchanged personalized vows. They later shared their first dance to a special verson of “Forever Young,” produced by Dann Huff.
The reception was filled with personal touches. Each of the tables were named after cities that held some meaning for Young and Mills, including Nashville, Los Angeles and Scottsdale. Guests were served steak, chicken and Southern foods for the main course and had their pick of the two wedding cakes.
The newlyweds will enjoy a romantic honeymoon getaway before Young returns to Nashville where he is scheduled to receive the ASCAP Songwriter-Artist of the Year honor and perform on the 52nd Annual CMA Awards.
