‘In Case You Didn’t Know,’ Brett Young hit the top of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart with his most recent single to country radio.

After climbing to the highest spot on the charts with his romantic ode, Young finally made his way to that No. 1 slot for the second time in his career. As a newcomer to the country community, the accolade meant a lot of Young as an artist and songwriter in Nashville.

“As a songwriter, the ultimate reward when you write a song is that it impacts someone’s life,” Young explained in a press release. “Maybe one of our biggest inspirations and challenges, but when it happens, it is simply the most fantastic feeling.”

The track, “In Case You Didn’t Know,” boasts as the follow-up to the massive success Young found with his debut track, “Sleep Without You.” Both songs hold their own place on Young’s debut self-titled album, which was released earlier this year.

Not only did “In Case You Didn’t Know” make a big splash through country radio, the video for the single earned Young a nomination for 2017 Breakthrough Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards in June. Fans can vote for Young in the category online prior to the show’s airing.

Young is currently on the road with Lady Antebellum and Kelsea Ballerini for the You Look Good Tour hitting cities all across America and internationally this summer.
