Rising star Brittney Spencer takes another big career leap this winter, set to embark on her first ever headlining tour.

Kicking off December 2 at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City, the run will feature 16 stops along the East Coast including dates in Washington, D.C., her native Baltimore and a Music City appearance at the Basement East in Nashville. The trek is being called the In A Perfect World Tour, and the talented singer-songwriter says its the culmination of a whirlwind ride into stardom which started little more than a year ago.

“I couldn’t be more excited to headline my first tour,” Spencer explains. “We’ll not only be showcasing songs that I’ve released over the last year, but we’re also planning to debut a lot of new material as well. I truly hope everyone enjoys what we’ve got cooking up — from those who have been on this journey with me since the very beginning, when I was just posting cover songs online, to the newer fans who have seen me on tour with some of my absolute heroes. And to top it off, I’m so thrilled to have Sam Williams, Abbey Cone and Camille Parker supporting on this tour as well! See ya’ll on the road!”

Now hailed as one of the brightest young stars in country, Brittney Spencer first began turning heads with stunning, soulful country covers online — but her star really began rising after fans heard her original songs.

Deeply felt country-blues tracks like “Sorrys Don’t Work No More” earned the attention of artists like Maren Morris, who called Spencer out from the stage at the 2020 CMA Awards, and this summer, Spencer released the track “Sober & Skinny.”

She’s since been included on nearly every Ones-to-Watch list — including Sounds Like Nashville’s 2021 prediction — and was even featured on CBS’ Mornings. She will also perform at this year’s CMA Awards, completing the full-circle moment alongside Mickey Guyton and Madeline Edwards.

Along with her In A Perfect World dates, Brittney Spencer will also continue touring with Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, and will also appear on select dates of tours with Brett Eldredge and Reba McEntire.

Tickets for Spencer’s ‘In a Perfect World Tour’ will go on-sale this Friday (10.22) at 10am EST.
