Brothers Osborne appear in the next episode of Phil Vassar’s Songs From the Cellar, streaming tonight (September 24) on the Grand Ole Opry’s new Circle Network.

If you’re not familiar with the show, it finds the “Just Another Day In Paradise” singer inviting musicians, celebrities and just plain old wine fans into his own personal wine cellar, where they chat about life and sing a few tunes surrounded by fine vintages. Like each bottle of wine, each show is different, and Vassar has already welcomed stars like Vince Gill, Charles Esten, Kellie Pickler and more to his musical man cave. But this week, the BROS rock Vassar’s basement in bluesy acoustic style.

In a preview clip premiering on Sounds Like Nashville today, John and TJ Osborne strum acoustic guitars like they’re chopping wood, while Vassar joins in on an electric keyboard for a breathless run through “Ain’t My Fault.” Even in this stripped down form, the track is full of hard-hitting energy, and the cellar sonics make TJ’s booming baritone jump from your speakers. Perhaps that’s why it’s Vassar’s favorite spot to write songs.

“I’m so proud to have my friends T.J. and John on the show,” Vassar tells SLN. “I’ve known them a long time and watched them grow into superstars! I think folks are going to love this episode.”

A new episode of Phil Vassar’s Songs From the Cellar premieres each week on the Circle Network, and along with Brothers Osborne, future episodes will feature Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn, actor/musician Dennis Quaid, rapper Chingy with Meg & Tyler and more.
