Hear a Preview of Brothers Osborne’s New Single, ‘Shoot Me Straight’

Brothers Osborne is ringing in the new year with new music.

Fans have been patiently awaiting new music from the award-winning duo, and the wait will soon be over with the upcoming release of their brand new single, “Shoot Me Straight.”

The brothers previewed the track on Instagram on Tuesday (Jan. 2) with a short black and white video featuring clips from the recording process, which took place in Port Saint Joe, Florida. Written by John Osborne, TJ Osborne and Lee Thomas Miller, and produced by Jay Joyce, “Shoot Me Straight” is the lead single from Brothers Osborne’s yet-to-be announced sophomore album.

“Don’t give me that salt shaker and lime/ Don’t give me that come back chaser this time/ Don’t muddle it up, don’t water it down/ Give me everything you got right here, right now,” TJ sings in the clip.

The sound of the track is reminiscent of what fans grew to love from the duo, with TJ’s deep, baritone vocals taking the lead.

“Shoot Me Straight” will be available Friday, January 5.
