Photo Gallery: Adam Sanders Enlists Famous Friends For ‘Ruled The World’ Music Video

Adam Sanders is getting by with a little help from his friends. In the new music video for his song “Ruled the World,” out February 21, Sanders calls on several of his famous friends to star in a hilarious new clip.

Joining the singer are legendary country artists Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Tippin and Shenandoah’s Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire, as well as fellow singer-songwriters Hunter Phelps, Ray Fulcher, Cash Campbell, Faren Rachels, Josh Mirenda, Mitch Rossell and Drew Parker.

“Man, if I had to describe the “Ruled The World’ video shoot in just one word, I would have to simply have to say: FUN,” Sanders tells Sounds Like Nashville. “I can’t tell you how much of a compliment it was to hear from each artist involved, including Tracy, Aaron, and Mike & Marty that this was one of, if not the coolest shoots they had ever been a part of. That sentiment was the core of my vision behind this whole project.”

Filmed in several locations outside of Nashville, TN including Greenbrier Middle School and The Brier Barn, Sanders hires the famous names to play hilarious characters with Lawrence appearing as the janitor, Tippin as the security guard and Shenandoah as Buck and Earl. Appearing in the fun-loving clip was a quick yes for Shenandoah’s Marty and Mike as they were eager to team up with the rising star.

“It’s great to see the, as they call them, ‘The Youngbloods’ take the energy they have and present it in the videos, the music and the overall excitement of this music. It’s a good thang,” says Marty.

Adds Mike, “It’s been a long time since Shenandoah has shot a video, so it was a big thrill to be asked to do a cameo in Adam Sanders’ new video…soon to be a huge hit! This guy is fresh, talented, and I’ve since become a real fan. Way to go Adam! Can’t wait to see your star rise!!”

In anticipation of the song and video release, Sounds Like Nashville has exclusive behind-the-scenes photo from the filming. Check them out in the album above. “Ruled The World” will debut on Friday, February 21.
