American Idol alum Caleb Lee Hutchinson will release his second EP this fall. Set for release on September 17, the vocalist will share an evolved version of himself after releasing his first EP back in 2019.

“I felt like everybody had these different versions of me and what I should be – or that I was too young to be in the position I was in,” Hutchinson says. “But I always felt like I had a clear vision of who I was.”

Dubbed Slot Machine Syndrome, the project will feature five new tracks and was produced by acclaimed producer Brent Cobb. The EP finds the singer blending classic country with a modern edge, which will allow him to honor his heroes while also sharing his own story. Hutchinson gives a perfect example of that with the project’s lead single, “Who I Am.”

“I want to be known for who I am, not who I’m remembered as being,” the insightful singer shares.
