Cam Confirmed to Host TED Talk in 2017

While most people know Cam to be one of the breakout country stars over the past year with hits like “Burning House” and “Mayday,” she used to have dreams of pursuing a career in psychology. With a vast array of interests, it makes sense that Cam loves to learn and enjoys being educated.

With her intelligence and life experience as an artist, it has been announced that Cam will be taking on her own TED Talk in 2017. The talk will be held at the TEDxUniversityofNevada conference in Reno in front of a live audience. Cam surely has had enough experience being in front of a crowd, making her excitement over the offer huge.

“I’ve been watching TED Talks for years,” Cam said. “And, I’ve applied the shared ideas to my life countless times.  It’s honestly some of the best content on the Internet. People sharing new ideas through story-telling… it’s like college without the debt! I am so humbled and thrilled that I get to contribute to this beautiful resource.”

It’s unknown as to what Cam will speak about, but she will both be a speaker and performer at the conference.

TED talks and conferences have garnered quite the attention throughout the past decade as the program has brought together some of the best educational and intellectual content through the works of published videos. These talks have gained hundreds of millions of views from across the world and have explained various topics and issues that are relevant to society.
