While Cam forms connections with fans when she performs on stage, she also tries to create those connections through the help of social media.

Fan-friendly Cam has always been an artist who cares about her supporters and never wants them to feel as if she is more than the six degrees of separation apart from her status in the music industry. Thanks to Cam’s dedication to her social media pages, she makes sure that she can reach out to as many people as possible when they try to establish some form of bond with the country star.

“While you’re performing you’re always trying to do a job so you’re trying not to stop mid song and really enjoy that, she explained. “ And I think the way that I get to enjoy that even more, which may sound cheesy, is through Twitter, and Facebook, and Instagram, ‘cause then while I have a moment, I can read what people are saying about the song, what it means to them, quoting their favorite lyrics, seeing them in videos sing along or lip-sync and they’re, like they’re sending it to me, and I feel like that’s almost an even more personal way to have a moment with it because when I’m performing it I get to enjoy it just as applause but then I get like the details of what it really means to them threw social media. I really appreciate those times, getting that feedback from everybody.”

It’s apparent through her Instagram and Twitter pages that she communicates with the fans that reach out to her. Whether it be a simple like of a photo or a retweet of a positive compliment, Cam takes the time out of her busy schedule to refocus herself on the ones who helped get her to the position she is in now.

Cam is nominated for a couple of CMT Awards and will also perform with pop group Fifth Harmony on the live broadcast awards show on June 8. Keep up with her throughout the Awards on her Instagram and Twitter.
