Cam is capping off 2015 in a HUGE way.
The California native is celebrating her first No.1 single this week as “Burning House” tops the Mediabase Country Chart. In addition, she also got the news that her major label debut, Untamed, debuted at No.2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums sales chart. With sales of 37,000, Untamed has the best first-week album sales by a debut country artist in 2015.
Cam shared her excitement on Facebook saying, “Wait… Am I reading this right? IS BURNING HOUSE THE #1 SONG ON COUNTRY RADIO?!?!”
The good news comes just weeks after “Burning House” earned Cam a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Solo Performance.
To say that 2015 was a good one for Cam would be quite the understatement. She also got engaged in September.
