It’s the moment Cam has been waiting for… her very first headlining tour! The “Mayday” singer will kick off her Burning House Tour this year and it’s something she couldn’t be more thrilled to take on.

“I get to finally like take elements of the videos and elements of the imagination and make this cool set. The band’s been fined tuned super well so the live show is going to be so frickin hip,” she told Sounds Like Nashville excitedly on the ACM Honors red carpet.

Cam has spent much of this year working with her band as they’ve traveled around the country with Dierks Bentley’s Somewhere On A Beach Tour. Much of what she’s learned from Bentley (and tour mate Randy Houser) will be used as she hits the road for her 13-date run.

“There’ll be sharing stories behind fans’ favorite songs and dancing and singing together like the crazy family we are,” said the California native when the tour was announced. “It’s going to be an unforgettable adventure.”

In addition to her “dream come true” tour, Cam was just nominated for Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year with “Burning House” at the upcoming 50th Annual CMA Awards.

The tour will begin on October 27 in Chicago and ends on December 10 in Las Vegas. Tickets will go on sale soon. See what else Cam told us about her headlining tour in the video above.
