Canaan Smith Wants Fans To ‘Feel a Gamut of Emotions’ When Listening To ‘Bronco’

Canaan Smith is blowing up the airwaves with “Love You Like That,” the lead single from his full length debut album, Bronco.

The album, which is available now, is one that he hopes will take fans on a roller coaster ride of emotions.

“I wanted ‘Bronco’ as an album to be cohesive and tell a story and to be true to who I am, and take the listener through a journey,” he says. “From start to finish, I want them to feel a gamut of emotions.”

Heartbreak, rejuvenation, and the feeling of being on top of the world are just a few of the emotions he hopes fans take away when they listen.

The album, which features 11 tracks, kicks off with “Good Kinda Bad,” a song Smith calls a bit “mysterious.” He wraps it up with the title cut, which is the story of how he lost his older brother, Nathaniel.

Smith co-wrote all but 3 of the songs on Bronco.

Fans can catch Canaan this summer as part of Dierks Bentley’s Sounds of Summer Tour along with Kip Moore and Maddie & Tae.
