The holidays are a time when many people stop and think about the blessings in their life, and Carly Pearce is no different. After a year that included a new album, a CMA award for Female Vocalist of the Year and other honors, Pearce says she has plenty of things for which to be grateful.

“Oh gosh, I mean I think so many of my dreams have come true this past year in a way that I never thought could actually happen, especially in one calendar year,” Pearce shared. “So, I think I’m just going into this holiday season feeling so happy and extra grateful just for where I’m at in my life.”

As far as Thanksgiving dinner goes, Pearce shared in 2020 that she and her family enjoy a healthy version of Thanksgiving, which is a tradition that began after her father experienced serious health issues.

“My dad had a massive heart attack when I was 19 and it kind of changed the game for my family as far as how we eat,” she shared. “We have a modified Thanksgiving, I feel like. We don’t go crazy on a lot of things, but there’s one thing that I will forever want ‘the real thing,’ as I call it, and that’s pumpkin pie. You can’t mess with a pumpkin pie. So, there may be different variations of how we make other things, but pumpkin pie is full fat and all.”

Pearce will be in the holiday spirit on November 29 when she co-hosts CMA Country Christmas on ABC with Gabby Barrett. The show will include performances from Pearce and Barrett, as well as Brett Eldredge, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, Jimmie Allen, Louis York and The Shindellas, BRELAND, The Pistol Annies and Lady A

Carly Pearce has also been busy on her fall tour, The 29 Tour, which kicked off November 4 in Des Moines, IA, and will wrap up Friday, December 3 in Bloomington, IL. She will be back on the road in April and through the summer joining Kenny Chesney on his Here and Now Tour.
