Carly Pearce Calls Fiancé Michael Ray ‘The Real Deal’
They are a gorgeous couple!
Carly Pearce found the love of her life in fellow country star Michael Ray. The two have been head over heels for one another since a night at local Nashville honky tonk, the Nashville Palace, “changed everything.”
The two haven’t been shy about their affection and support for one another, often sharing photos with fans on their respective Instagram accounts.
“People always ask me, ‘Is it really as real as it is online?’ And it really is. He really is that wonderful,” Pearce shared with CMT recently. “It was worth every single heartbreak and failed relationship that I’d ever had.
“He’s the real deal, and I’m really lucky,” she added.
While the Kentucky native didn’t delve too deeply into the plans for their upcoming nuptials, she admitted that Ray is a hands-on groom when it comes to planning.
“He’s way more into it than I thought he would be,” she said.
Adding, “It’s such an exciting time for both of our families. And thankfully, we have so much in common, so we both agree on how we want our wedding to be. It’s a special time. We are working on place, we are working on a date, and I’m working on dress, and have asked a couple designers to show me what’s possible.”
Pearce and Ray got engaged during a romantic pre-Christmas vacation to Tulum, Mexico. The couple shared photos from the sweet moment, showcasing both Pearce’s surprise and the gorgeous ring. No word yet on when the couple will officially become Mr. and Mrs.
