Carly Pearce saw a dream realized on Tuesday, August 3rd when she was officially inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry by Trisha Yearwood. To commemorate the night, Pearce’s mom surprised her with a gift of two Barbie dolls made to look like the singer. One of the dolls is dressed in the outfit Pearce wore for her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2015 and the other is a replica of Pearce’s look on her induction night. She posted a photo of the dolls, as well as real-life photos from both nights, on social media.

“Y’all. My mom surprised me with these 2 replicas of my debut Grand Ole Opry look in 2015 & my induction look that she made. Can y’all believe this?! The best gift ever,” Pearce wrote alongside the photos.

Pearce has undoubtedly been on a high since her Opry induction on Tuesday night. After being officially welcomed into the Opry family by Trisha Yearwood, Pearce shared heartfelt words about what the honor means to her.

“Grand Ole Opry, this isn’t just another feather in my cap, this isn’t another accolade, this isn’t another thing to add to my wall, this is a promise to all of you and to this organization that I will do my due-diligence as a Grand Ole Opry member to make sure that the circle is never broken,” she told the Tuesday night Opry crowd.

Pearce’s performance on the show included her No. 1 hit, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” a duet with Yearwood on “How Do I Live,” a new song, “Dear Miss Loretta,” from her upcoming album, 29: Written In Stone, and a collaboration with Yearwood and Jeannie Seely on “Making Believe.” Pearce was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry in June by Dolly Parton.
