Carrie Underwood fans are fired up about her first ever Las Vegas residency. So fired up, in fact, that planners have had to add six more shows due to popular demand.
Announcing new shows just over a week after her Reflection series was revealed — and before tickets even go on sale to the general public (May 24) — the new gigs at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas will take place in March and April of 2022.
Adding shows on March 23, 25, 26, 30, and April 1 and 2, Underwood’s REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency has now doubled in length. The original dates were set for December 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11 of 2021.
“Touring is one of my favorite things I get to do as a performer and we’ve all really been missing that,” she said when the engagement was first announced. “I love being on the road and coming to the fans where they live but it will also be fun to get to do multiple shows in one place where people will be able to come to get that concert experience and have some fun in Las Vegas at the same time. It’s such a special honor to be one of the first artists to get to perform in a brand new, beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre at such an exciting new destination as Resorts World Las Vegas.”
Meanwhile, Underwood isn’t the only performer to extend her residency. Pop icon Celine Dion has also added more shows to her run in the same venue, with 11 more dates from January 19 to February 5, 2022. They join the previously announced shows in November of 2021. Luke Bryan has also been tapped for a residency at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, with his shows starting in February of 2022.
General public tickets for all those shows go onsale Monday (May 24) at 10 a.m. PST at AXS.com.
