Carrie Underwood Debuts Baby Bump Before Grand Ole Opry Performance

Carrie Underwood returned to the hallowed Grand Ole Opry stage for back-to-back performances over the weekend, but this time, she was sporting an extra accessory… her baby bump! Yes, the country superstar is pregnant with her second child and couldn’t help but share a sweet snap of her growing belly.

Taken just before she hit the stage to perform, Underwood is seen standing sideways with her hands tucked under her belly. Simply captioned with “@ opry” and a slew of hearts, the photo marks the first time the Oklahoma native has shared a bump picture since announcing the pregnancy.

On the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 8, Underwood shared her exciting news with the world during a combination tour/baby announcement. Keeping fans in the dark until the second of three videos, Underwood excitedly shared her news when the time came.

“Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon excited to be adding a new little fish to our pond. This has just been a dream come true with album and with baby news and all that stuff. We’re just so excited and so glad that you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us,” she said in the clip.

While a due date is still unclear, the new addition to the Fisher-Underwood clan will come months before she embarks on her 55-date Cry Pretty Tour 360, which kicks off on May 1 in Greensboro, NC. Joining the singer for the highly-anticipated tour will be rising female country acts Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.

Tickets for the “Cry Pretty Tour 360″ go on sale beginning August 17. With each ticket purchase, fans will get a download of Underwood’s new album, Cry Pretty. For more information, visit carrieunderwoodofficial.com.
