Carrie Underwood and David Bisbal are taking fans behind-the-scenes of their “Tears of Gold” Music video. The clip, which is currently nominated for Video of the Year at the Latin AMAs, was an exciting and symbiotic project for the two.

“We work with a lot of the same people, we come from the same label family. It’s been pretty natural to sing together and work together,” Underwood says in the clip.

The breath-taking clip was shot in Los Angeles in several locations, which included a warehouse and rooftop. In the “making of” video,” clips of the shooting process are snipped together with interviews featuring the artists. The video also includes a moment where a bug landed on the Oklahoma native’s shoulder, much to her dismay.

Currently, “Tears of Gold” is nominated for Video of the Year for the Latin AMAs. Fans can vote for their favorite video by visiting latinamas.com/vota or by tweeting @carrieunderwood @davidbisbal + #VideoFavorito + #LatinAMAs. Fan support is something both Underwood and Bisbal have experienced throughout their careers and was called out in the BTS clip.

“His fans, and I know my fans, are incredible. I think that cross pollination is just really cool,” said Underwood. “Carrie fans, hello, I’m David Bisbal,” joked the “En Tus Planes” singer, using the moment to introduce himself.

The Latin AMAs will feature a performance from Bisbal, as well as Karol G, Camilo, Eslabon Armado, Los Dos Carnales, Myke Towers, Gerardo Ortiz, Carlos Vives, Nicky Jam and more.

The 2021 Latin AMAs, hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes, will air live from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 15 via Telemundo. It will also broadcast simultaneously on Universo and throughout the Americas on Telemundo Internacional.

Underwood will release her 13-track faith-based album, My Savior, on March 26. The record will feature the previously released songs “How Great Thou Art” and “Softly and Tenderly,” among others. Pre-order it here.
