Carrie Underwood takes on a lot of roles in her life from country singer to mom to fashion designer to wife, but she wants to add a new unexpected position to her ‘Laundry’ list: a zombie.

While stopping by the Today show set, Underwood got to the nitty-gritty about her activewear line, her Australian skydiving experience and so much more. But when Tamron Hall started talking their shared love language toward The Walking Dead, the country singer lit up with enthusiasm over the hit television series.

Admitting she wasn’t really a daredevil except for the occasional whim, Underwood did tell Hall she would love to take on a guest spot for the show and her character would have to be a little less glam than her stage persona.

“Probably zombie because then it would be a little thing and I can be like, ‘I was there and a part of it,’” she admitted happily.

Switching gears, Underwood also dished on her GRAMMY performance and whether she feels the nerves when it comes to being on stage during the biggest music awards show of the year.

“Any kind of stage like that where it’s multi-genre kind of awards show, you just want to bring your best. We’re representing country music, the ones of us who are going to be there, and I feel like I just want to do a good job. I want my genre and my fans, I just want them to be proud,” she said.

Underwood will be performing at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which also includes performances from Keith Urban, Adele and many others. The GRAMMYs will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
