Carrie Underwood Goes Skydiving in Australia
The country star took on the ultimate dare to jump out of a plane at 14,000 feet while taking a day off in Sydney during the Australian leg of the Ripcord Tour.
The sky is the limit for Carrie Underwood…well, at least it used to be before she took her Australian crew skydiving over the weekend.
The country star took on the ultimate dare to jump out of a plane at 14,000 feet while taking a day off in Sydney during the Australian leg of the Ripcord Tour. While fellow tourmate Keith Urban opted out of the fear factor activity, some of Underwood’s closest pals on the road joined her for what seemed to be a thrill-seeking bonding experience.

Underwood documented the whole hurrah via her Instagram profile by posting a video hint at what she was ‘jumping’ into on her day off from touring. Alluding to the adventure by singing along to clips of Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’” and The Pointer Sisters’ “Jump (For My Love),” Underwood didn’t seem to look one bit nervous leading up to the act of courage.
Although she promised fans a video of one of her ‘highest’ moments, the pictures alone are worth thousands of words as the “Dirty Laundry” singer looks like she soaked in the daredevil moment with excitement. She and her crew even got certified by the skydiving company during their time, with Underwood’s reading her married name as ‘Carrie Fisher.’
Underwood is currently touring around Australia at the moment with Urban on one of the global legs for his Ripcord Tour before she returns to the States to celebrate the holidays with her family.
