Carrie Underwood (Still) Sounds Amazing on Helium–Watch the Hilarious Video
Isaiah couldn't wait to try it himself.
Carrie Underwood is easily one of the best vocalists in modern music, but when helium is involved? Well, she still sounds pretty darn incredible.
In a video posted to her husband Mike Fisher’s Instagram, the Oklahoma native serenades their four-year-old son Isaiah for his birthday. With their baby Jacob in one arm and a balloon in the other, Underwood takes a swig of helium and belts out one of the most hilarious performances of “Happy Birthday” the world has ever seen.
With Isaiah laughing along, Underwood showcases her powerhouse voice with some up and down runs before concluding the song and handing the balloon over to her boy.
The adorable moment with Isaiah is the second this week after the birthday boy and Fisher helped with the ceremonial puck drop at a recent Nashville Predators game. The two attending the game as the Preds honored their former captain for his work both on and off the ice. Isaiah hammed it up for cameras out on the ice before dropping the puck between Preds captain Roman Josi and Milan Lucic of the Edmonton Oilers.
The Fisher-Underwood clan has been spending much time together since welcoming Jacob into the family. After wrapping up her hosting gig at the CMA Awards in November, Underwood enjoyed some time off awaiting her son. She’ll have a few more months at home before embarking on her Cry Pretty Tour 360 in May, with special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.
