Carrie Underwood Celebrates Son’s First Birthday With Smash Cake Photos

Carrie Underwood has a one-year-old on her hands! The singer’s youngest son Jacob turned one on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and celebrated with a delicious smash cake.
In several photos posted to the proud mom’s social media, little Jacob takes big bites out of his delightful dessert and covers his entire face in bright green frosting.
“Happy birthday, Jacob! How are you already 1 year old? You are smiley, crazy, smart, soooo fast and into everything! And, apparently, you love cake,” wrote Underwood with the photos. “I can’t wait to see your personality continue to shine! I have a good feeling you’re going to keep us all on our toes for years to come! I thank God for you each and every day. You are truly our miracle baby!!! Mommy loves you! Jacob was born early in the morning last year and his arrival was announced just two days later.
“Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday…his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…,” Underwood shared at the time.
The youngest Fisher boy joins his big brother Isaiah, who will turn five later this year.
Jacob’s birthday is likely the first of many celebrations coming for the Oklahoma native and her family this year. Underwood will release her first book, Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, in March. This will also mark the first year in 12 that Underwood will not appear as a host on the CMA Awards in November.
