Wednesday, May 1 is the start of Carrie Underwood’s massive Cry Pretty Tour 360. Beginning in Greensboro, NC at the Greensboro Coliseum, the trek will encompass more than 55 dates across North America alone.

In anticipation for the tour, the country superstar sat down with TODAY’s Natalie Morales to talk about what fans can expect, plus what life will be like on the road with Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher and their two kids in tow.

“We have fun, we have impactful moments. We want people to leave feeling uplifted. We have a lot of positivity in the show,” shared Underwood of what she hopes fans take away from the concert experience, adding that she wants little girls to leave the show inspired after seeing her, Maddie & Tae and Runaway June take the stage.

She added at Fisher along with four-year-old Isaiah and three-month-old Jacob will join her for the duration of the tour, with Fisher and Isaiah sometimes taking off for some fun father-son adventures.

During her all-encompassing interview, Underwood also touched on her plans to possibly expand her family.

“I do not know at this point,” Underwood said when asked about adding to her family. “You know, it’s such a difficult road to get where we are now. And I’ll have to evaluate after this tour is over. Then we can talk about what’s next. But I’ve been a lot of kind of ‘live in the moment’ lately. And I think that’s good. I am kind of a planner and I really do like knowing what’s around every corner.”

“If there’s anything the past couple of years have taught me is that you don’t know what’s gonna happen next,” she added, referring to the three miscarriages and pregnancy challenges she went through in 2017 and 2018. “And there’s no way you can plan for everything or make everything be the way you want it. So it’s been good for me to just kind of be present, and live in the moment, and stop trying so hard to plan out the entire rest of my life.”

For now, Underwood is busy preparing for her world tour, while also working to be the best mother and wife to her family.
