Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher have been opening the doors to their private lives in the series Mike and Carrie: God & Country – but the latest episode takes them into new territory.

Speaking in part two of a four part docu-series for the faith-based nonprofit I Am Second, Underwood and Fisher unpack their struggle through multiple miscarriages. It was a painful time in their marriage and led to some serious soul-searching, and the celebrity couple bravely share it all. From the questions they asked themselves to the questions the ultimately asked God, Underwood and Fisher explain the emotional and spiritual “wrestling” they had to do to make it through, leading to the loving family and two sons they enjoy today.

“We wanted to do this to share some of our personal journey in hopes that viewers will be inspired by it, and maybe even take one more step in pursuing a relationship with God,” says Underwood in a statement about the series, which began with a look into the couple’s personal differences last week.

The first and second episodes are both available now at iamsecond.com/mikeandcarrie, and the final two episodes will be released over the next two Wednesdays at 7 p.m. CDT.
