It’s no secret that CMA co-host Carrie Underwood loves a bit of a costume change here and there throughout the show, but for the 50th Annual CMA Awards, she plans to go all out with her ensembles.Well, all 11 of her outfits, that is.

The country superstar is all for the glitz and glamour of hosting and wants to honor the traditions from the past by dressing the part in coordination to the trends over the last few decades. Using the opportunity as co-host to honor those artists who paved the way for country music, Underwood just wants to be able to pay it forward through her choice of dress and explained that it will be quite obvious when she coordinates each decade through the looks.

“There are some looks throughout our night that are very singular artist inspired and it should evident,” Underwood said in a chat with PeopleStyle. “But going back, there are just so many incredible, legendary ladies of country music. I didn’t wanna really completely pigeonhole myself to one artist. It’s about paying tribute as well.”

While she will mainly be focusing on the decades for the changing of costumes throughout the awards show, she also factored in her red carpet look, performance costume and afterparty look. But no matter what Underwood ends up strutting her stuff in, it’s sure to be quite the fabulous ensemble since she has her style down to a science at this point.

Fans can watch the 50th Annual CMA Awards to see what looks Underwood rocks throughout the night by tuning into ABC on Wednesday, November 2 at 8 p.m. ET.
