Sam Hunt celebrated a win in the all-genre New Artist of the Year category. The Georgia native told the audience he was “proud to represent Country music” at the show.

Luke Bryan took home his fourth AMA when he was crowned Favorite Male Artist – Country, while Underwood earned her ninth American Music Award trophy in the Favorite Female Artist – Country category.
