It’s always difficult explaining to young children what it means to be a big brother or sister. Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher tackled this conversation head on with their three-year-old, Isaiah.

It was a day at the lake when Underwood dropped the news with her son, after an adorable-turned-hilarious moment. While with friends, the Oklahoma native noticed her boy Isaiah “was just sitting there looking at my belly, and he starts squishing it with his hands,” she recalled during a conversation with CMT’s Cody Alan. “I kind of thought he was gonna go in to kiss it and I was like ‘This is about to be the sweetest moment. Somehow he knows.'”

She continued, “And then he literally goes in and like blows on my belly, like pfffft [blows a raspberry] … And I’m like ‘OK, and you’re three. All of the sudden you’re back to being three.'”

After collecting herself from laughter, she laid on the news that a baby was growing inside her belly.

“He was a little confused, not really knowing how that got there,” Underwood explained. “I just told him ‘God put it there,’ and we accepted that answer [laughs]. He’s just gonna be a good big brother. He’s a good little guy.”

Underwood previously talked about Isaiah and his new title, sharing that she knows her oldest child will be great with his younger sibling.

“I think he’ll be a really good big brother,” she said previously. “I think he’ll be helpful.”

Before announcing her pregnancy, the “Cry Pretty” singer revealed plans for a massive tour in 2019. Dubbed the Cry Pretty Tour 360, Underwood will once again perform in the round and bring the new music from her upcoming album to the stage. Ever the supporter of females in country music, she also invited Maddie & Tae and Runaway June along as supporting acts.
