Charles Esten Likes To Be Surprised With Guest Stars on ‘Nashville’

Fall TV is back, y’all!

This week, ABC’s hit show Nashville makes its dramatic return to the small screen. Already this season, we’re expecting a guest appearance from Steven Tyler, who follows appearances from country guest stars such as Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert and Florida Georgia Line (just to name a few!).

Charles Esten (aka Deacon Claybourne) is always amazed at who will join the show. “When it comes to choosing the different icons or artists that would be on this show, I swear it’s just easier for me to sit back and be surprised, because I’m blow away constantly by who shows up here, and so I almost don’t want to jinx it. Definitely, I have a few in my mind. I’m such a fan of Country, but I’d rather sit back and let them surprise me when I walk on the set one day and see who’s playin’ Deacon’s friends.”

After the season three cliffhanger, we sure hope Deacon will still have some friends coming around. Find out if he lives or dies when the fourth season of Nashville premieres this Wednesday, September 23rd, on ABC.
