Charlie Worsham and his wife, Kristen, have a lot to celebrate this Easter holiday as the couple welcomed their first child into the world.
The musician made the blissful baby announcement on social media on Sunday morning (April 4), noting their son came into the world on April 1. He weighed in at a healthy 6 lbs., 11 oz, and was delivered to the sounds of Sinners Like Me. Worsham also let fans know the sentiment behind their bundle of joy’s name, Gabriel Thomas.
“Gabe is sweet, peaceful and strong, like his mama. they’re both doing great, and i’m just a mess of overwhelming love and joy and pride,” Worsham wrote as a part of his Instagram caption.
Many fellow country stars commented on the new arrival, including Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, Hailey Whitters, Leslie Jordan and Luke Combs.
“So happy for you guys. What a beautiful name for a beautiful boy.❤️,” Fairchild said.
Combs echoed the love and support.
“Hell yeah man! Congrats,” he simply said.
Worsham and Kristen announced they were expecting back in November of 2020. They tied the knot in September in 2018. This marks the couple’s first child together.
