Chely Wright and Wife Welcome Identical Twin Boys
Congratulations are in order for Chely Wright and her music executive wife, Lauren Blitzer Wright. According to Wright’s rep, the couple welcomed identical twin sons on Saturday, May 18 in New York City.
“We are grateful for all the amazing medical care and the love and support of family and friends,” Wright, 42, tells PEOPLE.
The boys have been named George Samuel and Everett Joseph, after their great-grandfathers. The rep adds that everyone is doing well.
Chely and Lauren wed in August 2011, following the singer coming out announcement in 2010.
