Chevrolet Set To Sponsor CMA Fest For 7th Year, Offers Plenty of Events For Fans

CMA and Chevrolet – the Official Ride of Country Music – continue their partnership and bring exciting fan experiences to the 2012 CMA Music Festival, June 7-10, in downtown Nashville.

“Chevrolet has been a valued partner with CMA for seven years and we are excited about what they bring to the Festival,” said Sheri Warnke, CMA Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. “Chevy is always thinking of ways to enhance the fans’ experience at CMA Music Festival and this year is no exception.”

Chevrolet starts the week as sponsor of the CMA Global Artist Party, which features aspiring and established Country artists from around the world; that’s followed two days later by The Eighth Annual CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Parade; and The Seventh Annual CMA Music Festival Block Party, which jump starts the Festival events and activities. New to this year’s Festival is The Chevrolet Roadhouse, located in Fan Alley, which will feature appearances by artists and celebrities alike. And throughout the Festival, the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage, always a popular destination, will feature free daily concerts with many of Country Music’s hottest acts on the banks of the Cumberland River.

“Once again Chevrolet will sponsor several Country Music acts – some new, some global, some rising stars – and we’re offering multiple vehicle experiences, so fans will have plenty to do, much to discover and a lot to enjoy throughout the CMA Festival week,” said Phil Caruso, Manager, Chevrolet National Promotions. “Chevrolet is thrilled to support the Festival Country Music fans love and our customers attend, year after year.”

As part of the continuous relationship between CMA and Chevrolet, a private Industry Test Drive will occur on Friday, June 1, with proceeds benefitting the CMA Foundation. For each test drive taken, Chevrolet will donate $25 to the CMA Foundation, which benefits music education through CMA’s Keep the Music Playing campaign.
