Chris Janson revealed that his family would appear on his anticipated upcoming album. While stopping by the Bobby Bones Show recently, Janson shared that his wife Kelly and their children will be singing on a track titled “Hawaii On Me.”

The idea formed when Janson was recording in his basement and his wife came down to hang out.

“Tommy, my co-producer, was like ‘man, we should get Kelly to sing,’ and I was like ‘yeah, we should definitely get Kelly to sing on it,” Janson told Bones. “Kelly doesn’t sing, but we had a good time with it and made it work.”

Then Georgia, his youngest daughter, came down and got on the track, which led to the rest of his kids joining in.

“It’s literally for no other reason than that it just sounds sweet, and it was just a great sentimental moment and pretty neat,” the Missouri native said. While Janson’s family does not appear on his latest single “Good Vibes,” they were the first to tell him that they thought the song was a hit, he said.

Janson also revealed on the show that his upcoming third album will drop sometime in September.
