The annual Farm Aid benefit show has gotten bigger! Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Sturgill Simpson and Margo Price are all set to perform at the festival on September 22, which is taking place in Connecticut for the first time.

Stapleton, Musgraves, Simpson and Price will perform alongside the Farm Aid board of directors, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews. The festival is designed to transcend genres and provide a day of celebration, both for music and for family farmers. Farm Aid raises money to help family farmers and has raised more than $53 million since it first started in 1985.

The decision to move the longest running festival to Hartford this year was an easy one for festival organizers to make, as they know the farmers attending the show love to enjoy a brief getaway from their homesteads and visit new states.

“We do move the concert around the country, as you know,” Farm Aid communications director Jennifer Fahy shared in an interview with the Hartford Courant. “Willie [Nelson] always wanted that to be the case. We wanted to come back to New England [in 2008, Farm Aid took place at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass], and we haven’t been to Hartford. The venue is great for us, and we look forward to celebrating New England agriculture.”

This year’s festival will take place at XFINITY Theatre in Hartford, CT and fans can purchase tickets here starting at 10 AM ET on Friday, June 29.
