“Music’s Biggest Night’ has come and gone, and two of Country music’s hottest acts came out as big winners.

Chris Stapleton took home two gramophone trophies this evening. He was awarded Best Country Album for his debut solo release Traveller, and Best Country Solo Performance for the album’s title track, “Traveller.”

It was also a big night for Little Big Town. Prior to the live show on CBS, the quartet picked up the GRAMMY for Best Country Duo/Group performance for “Girl Crush” in the GRAMMYs pre-telecast ceremony. Additionally, the song was named Best Country Song. Songwriters Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, and Liz Rose were on hand to accept the honor.

Additionally, the soundtrack for the documentary Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, was awarded the GRAMMY for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.

Stapleton took the stage during the live telecast for an all-star tribute to the late B.B. King, while Little Big Town performed a beautiful version of their mega-hit “Girl Crush.”

In one of the most buzzed about moments of the night, Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt joined forces for an epic mashup of “Heartbeat” and “Take Your Time.” Luke Bryan made his GRAMMY debut in a star-studded tribute to Lionel Richie.
