Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert are the new country duo that no fan knew they absolutely needed in their life.

Lambert showed up to Stapleton’s Buffalo, New York show over the weekend to support her boyfriend and opening act to Stapleton, Anderson East. Instead of playing along as an innocent bystander cheering on her man, Lambert got right up on stage to perform “Fire Away” alongside Stapleton. While his wife, Morgane, typically covers the harmonies, Lambert took the lead while balancing vocals back and forth during the spontaneous performance.

The crowd didn’t seem to hate the interruption; in fact, Lambert entered the stage to a rousing applause from the entire audience and cheers throughout their performance.

While hanging out near the sound booth at the weekend show, the “Vice” singer decided to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to East in her own style by stepping out on stage during his own set. The dedication proved the love that the country couple share for one another, as well as the celebrated feelings everyone on the tour emoted at the Buffalo concert.

The friendship between Stapleton and Lambert didn’t start over the weekend as they’ve shared the stage previously when they cooed out a duet of The Temptations’ “My Girl” in the spring of 2016. With East opening up for Stapleton on the All-American Road Tour, the bond has formed even stronger than before with Lambert traveling out to see the show.

Stapleton’s All-American Road Tour has dates scheduled throughout the fall into November for fans who want to catch a peek at the country star’s show live and in person.
